Langley is a stone’s through from the Abbotsford International Airport. It’s also close to the US border and the Highway 17 route provides easy access to the ferry terminals in Tsawwassen.
There are two districts in Langley: The Township of Langley extends south of the Fraser River to the US border, with Surrey on the west and Abbotsford on the East. The City of Langley is along the western central border of the area. Each district is governed by its own mayor and council. The Township of Langley has a population of about 117,000 and the City of Langley has about 26,000 residences.
